It has an airbag rear suspension, an inboard

From The Fastest Lap - Apologies for focusing on MotoGP in the last couple of weeks, but with the third edition of the Red Bull US Grand Prix happening yesterday, it's somewhat on my mind. The Laguna Seca round of the World Superbike championship was a fan-favourite for many years, and although it had its problems (expensive hotel rooms, local cops more interested in writing tickets than assisting with traffic flow etc.) it was always a fun event. The switch in 2005 from WSBK to MotoGP turned a weekend attendance of 90,000 into something more than 150,000.

From BluepoofBikes Motorcycle Adventures - Dropping the F650GS on Saturday made me realize that I don't mind dropping my bikes anymore. This probably has something to do with the fact that all of my drops are now off-road (as opposed to, say, when stepping in...

From Kropotkin Thinks - Home races are something special. For every rider involved in MotoGP, indeed, for athletes involved in any form of organized sport, performing at home in front of your friends and family, and usually your most devoted fans, is a truly memorable experience. So to have five American riders on the grid at Laguna Seca made American hearts swell in their chests. At the very least, an American was sure to end up on the box, and an all-American podium seemed a realistic prospect. Or was it?
